Broad Street Crewe
The building that is home of Hopes and Beams on Broad Street, Crewe, used to be a school. Now it is a hub of all sorts of activities. It is an accessible venue, open to the whole community but specially adapted to be fun and safe for children and young people.
Our facilities
Gymnasium
A gymnasium with professional equipment for safely training on rings, parallel bars, beam, springboard and floor.
Sensory room
A sensory room with fibre optic lights, bubble tube, music, and hand-painted murals.
Classroom
A fully equipped classroom for one-to-one child development work and meetings.
Soft Play
A fully equipped soft play room with a ball pit, slide and much more.
Multifunction hall
A multifunction hall with a dance studio, stage, piano, projector screen and hearing loop.
Restaurant
Poppy’s is our community restaurant and kitchen.
Poppy’s Restaurant
Poppy’s is the vibrant community restaurant at the centre of Broad Street, Crewe. It’s a great place to meet friends and enjoy our homemade hot food, traditional afternoon teas and soft drinks.
Entirely staffed by a lovely team of volunteers, all profits from the restaurant go to support Hopes and Beams’ work with children and young adults with disabilities.
