Hopes and Beams hosts an array of events each month to fundraise for our charity’s work with children and young people with disabilities / additional needs as well as senior members of the community.

Spoken word open mic + Crewe & District Wrtiers Circle 60 years celebration

Friday 14th June 2024 6:30PM – 9:00PM

Poetry / Prose / Short stories… A night to come together and share anything literary and explore creative ideas.

This is a special Open Mic as it celebrates 60th anniversary of Crewe Writers Circle for which we will be having some guest poets performing.

The theme for the evening (if possible) is ‘Celebration’ and you are welcome to come and share any poems or stories you have.
First-timers welcome. (No participants under years of age.)

Costs £5 entry as includes buffet and refreshments (bring your own wine).

All money goes toward our charity’s work with senior members of the community as well as children and young people with disabilities / additional needs.

GRAND CHARITY BINGO

Friday 28th June 2024 6:30PM – 9:00PM

Featuring 5 games and a flyer at ONLY £1 PER GAME!
All adults and children welcome! 
No need to book just turn up on the night.

CREWE KRAZY RACES

Sunday 14th July

Hopes and Beams is pleased to have been voted as the headline charity partner (alongside St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice) for the Crewe Krazy Races soapbox derby racing event.

This event will be taking place just down the road from us on Broad Street and is not only a brilliant opportunity to fundraise for charity but also for the children we support to have a really fun day out!
